// DESCRIPTION

The Aerosonde Mark 4.7 is designed specifically for maritime operations, with automatic launch and takeoff capabilities suited for confined areas such as boats at sea. Primarily used for military purposes, the Aerosonde has the capacity to perform surveillance for law enforcement, commercial and scientific purposes as well.

Bond, James Bond: The Mark 4.7 is ideal for covert operations due to its quietness, length of operating time of (up 10 hours), the sophistication of its system – which includes a primary, secondary and third data link for imagery as well as a battery backup – and its capacity to carry an extensive payload of electro-optical/infrared/laser pointers cameras. The option to carry an extensive payload enhances the capabilities and performance of the craft, allowing users to collect various forms of data.

Release and capture: The aircraft's catapult system allows the unit to take off from small, remote clearings and ships. It can also be launched from the roof of a fast-moving ground vehicle. Landing is also easily done via net capture.
