Canon Powershot S100

// DESCRIPTION

The Canon PowerShot S100 is small enough to fit in your pocket and is a point-and-shoot digital camera that has both photo and video capabilities.

Protect those MPAs: Cameras such as the Canon Powershot S100 can be installed on a variety or platforms, such as drones, in order to facilitate monitoring and surveillance of MPAs. Install them on a drone to capture video footage while flying overhead or on an aerostat for longer-term, persistent surveillance missions.

Map it out: There is built-in GPS unit that allows the user to tag images with the location at which they were taken. The logger function keeps track of movements (regardless of whether or not the camera is taking photos) and plots the result on Google Maps - track those illegal fishing patterns!

Upgrades are key: Compared to previous models, the S100's lens range has been extended wider and longer in order to capture more details and provide enhanced zoom functions. With Canon's DIGIC 5 image processor, image processing six times faster than the previous version of the camera. The camera also has an image sensor that allows for noise reduction and increased dynamic range.

Become a novice filmmaker: With a direct movie recording button, this camera is capable of full HD movie recording with high resolution that ensures quality videos.
