PowerBuoy 3

// DESCRIPTION

The PowerBuoy 3 (PB3) buoy can provide many functions for operational needs and is well-suited for MPA surveillance and data collection . The hallmark of this buoy is its ability to withstand adverse weather conditions and maintain a continuous power supply.

Power saves: The buoy's higher power output and robust platform can support multiple sensors and communications equipment, providing a cost-effective solution to detection and surveillance. A network of PB3 buoys can establish a security perimeter, detecting vessels both above and below the surface.

Wave of energy: With an uninterruptable power supply (UPS), the PB3 buoy recharges itself by converting wave power into energy, therefore continuously supplying power to its payload and acting as an offshore power supply.

Undeniable resilience: This buoy provides real-time data transfer and communication to remote shore facilities.
