// SYNTHETIC APERTURE RADAR

Sandia National Laboratories SAR Research

// DESCRIPTION

Where other conventional SAR technologies may struggle to account for a ship's constant motion, Sandia National Laboratories is developing targeted modes and algorithms suitable for accurate maritime surveillance of moving targets - like those illegal fishing vessels. Sandia is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center dedicated to researching and finding solutions to security issues, including those in the maritime domain such as MPA protection missions.

At your service: Sandia SARs can be designed to operate on a broad spectrum of platforms, including small unmanned aerial vehicles or larger manned aircraft. Moreover, Sandia offers mission planning, hardware development, algorithm development and other services.
