Seaglider™

// DESCRIPTION

The Seaglider™ is an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV). With its unique design and buoyancy propulsion, the Seaglider™ can withstand long missions of up to nine months that cover thousands of kilometers. On its missions, the Seaglider™ collects data ranging from water temperature to salinity and utilizes satellites to transmit this data to users, as well as accommodate diverse types of sensors. The AUV can be applied to a variety of uses including environmental monitoring, intelligence, and surveillance.

The Seaglider™ has been operationalized by the U.S. Navy, the U.K. government’s Natural Environmental Research Council, and more.
