SeaVue Surveillance XMC

Raytheon produces the SeaVue radar family designed to detect small vessels on the high seas that are otherwise difficult to discern from other sea clutter. The radars come equipped with inverse synthetic aperture radar imaging of ocean targets as well as a weather detection and avoidance mode - these capabilities are well-suited for MPA monitoring and surveillance.

Cover more area: The SeaVue XMC (Expanded Mission Capability) incorporates new capabilities to enhance wide-area surveillance. The system geographically registers radar detections to Automatic Identification System data, providing precise target tracking and threat location. This system is ideal for areas with high-density traffic, where small vessels are difficult to distinguish from other detected sea clutter.
