Seeker 200 Unmanned Aerial System
South African Denel Dynamics’ Seeker 200 Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) is a complete package that consists of 4 to 6 unmanned aerial vehicles, a tactical ground station, field support equipment and payloads. This package is well-suited for MPA protection and surveillance missions.
Ready for battle: Seeker 200 UAS is designed primarily for surveillance and reconnaissance for military operations, making it an ideal platform to combat serious security concerns. It can perform day and night reconnaissance and operates with low noise levels and with short take off distances to escape detection. Its advanced systems include automatic takeoff and landing, autopilot, navigation and electro-optical/infrared cameras. The tactical ground station has video encryption and can include upgrades such as creating alternative loiter patterns for UAVs performing hover surveillance.
Fighting for mother nature: While marketed primarily as a military system, the Seeker 200 has been deployed to combat poachers in Kruger National Park in South Africa and could be deployed on similar missions to identify and track illegal fishing paterns and targets.
