Simrad V5035

// DESCRIPTION

The Simrad V5035 is a Class-A AIS transponder system approved for Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS) vessels. SOLAS is an international maritime treaty which requires signatory flag states to ensure that ships comply with minimum safety standards.

All the things: The V5035 includes a NMEA 0183 and 2000 (different maritime sensor communications networks) that can be connected to three external sensors, a GPS antenna, cables and mounting hardware. It comes equipped with multiple external sensors and can be integrated with other Simrad navigation and charting systems, external GPS receivers, radar systems and other devices.

Keeping it real: This transponder has coastline, radar, text and satellite display modes. Safety and awareness features for ship-to-ship or ship-to-shore recognition provides users with real-time information.
